After breakfast, depart from Arusha in a private 4×4 safari vehicle with a professional guide. Drive through local villages and the Great Rift Valley escarpment to Lake Manyara National Park for a game drive.
Wildlife highlights may include tree-climbing lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, hippos, baboons, monkeys, and rich birdlife including flamingos.
Enjoy a picnic lunch inside the park. In the late afternoon, transfer to a campsite near Karatu or the Ngorongoro Highlands. Tents are set up by the safari crew and dinner is freshly prepared at camp.

Enjoy a picnic lunch on the crater floor, then ascend and return to Arusha in the late afternoon.
